Hey Guys, I’m Tayler! I’m a city girl that fell in love with a third-generation farm and rancher. We have been married for five years and have two young boys. Our oldest is three and our youngest is one. They keep me on my toes.
The community we live in has less than 100 people, but don’t let that fool you. There is never a shortage of things to do. My husband runs cattle and we farm. I also am a contracted mail carrier for the U.S. postal service. I run a rural route three days a week or sub it out.
I am the vice president of a non -profit that makes memorial jewelry for families that have lost a baby in the womb. I help with record keeping and jewelry making. I enjoy attending events where we teach others how to make jewelry as well. We are called Held Your Whole Life.
I love to make things when I can find the time. I sew, crochet, cross stitch, and metal stamp. I have always enjoyed that. When I was a little girl, I would cut up old clothes and sew them into pillows or clothes for my stuffed animals. I was all about crafts and art class. I’m not sure if I’m any good, but I love doing it.
I also have always loved animals. I started my own little petting zoo. I have mini goats, one ewe, who thinks she is a goat, and several chickens. They keep me busy as well as entertained. I also have attempted gardening for the last five years. I am awful at it, no matter how many times Courtney has tried to teach me all that she knows.
I don’t pretend to be perfect or have my life together. You can tell by the mountain of laundry I display in my laundry room for all our guests to see. I do try my best to be an honest, loving, and generous human. I consider myself very blessed to be living out here in the middle of no where amongst all the chaos. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
